Legal Disclaimer for Members of Ailé House

 

By becoming a member of Ailé House, you acknowledge and agree that your membership is subject to the Ailé House Terms and Conditions. Membership grants access to facilities, events, and activities provided by Ailé House, and members agree to use all services and premises responsibly and lawfully. Ailé House assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage, loss, theft, or any incidents occurring within or around the premises. Members accept full responsibility for their personal belongings and wellbeing while on site. Ailé House reserves the right to update policies, terms, fees, and conditions at any time, with notice provided to all members. Continued use of Ailé House services and premises after such updates constitutes acceptance of any revised terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Terms and Conditions for Members of Ailé House

 

1. General Conduct

• Members must treat all individuals within Ailé House with respect, adhering to our anti-discrimination and inclusion policies.

• All members must comply with Swedish laws and regulations while on the premises.

 

2. Membership Access and Usage

• Membership tiers define access levels, benefits, and usage of facilities.

• Opening hours for members are Monday–Friday: 11:00–17:00. Extended access is not permitted unless authorised in advance.

• Members must vacate the premises promptly by closing time unless attending pre-approved evening events.

 

3. Health and Safety

• Members must familiarise themselves with the building’s fire safety protocols, including emergency exits and assembly points.

• Fire doors must not be blocked or propped open.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building and within 5 metres of any entrance.

 

4. Waste and Recycling

• Members are responsible for disposing of their waste in the designated bins located on each floor.

• All recycling must comply with Malmö’s waste segregation guidelines (e.g., glass, paper, plastics).

• Bulk items must not be left in the building or its surrounding areas.

 

5. Use of Outdoor Areas

• Members must not block access to the building, including designated delivery zones for Avebe AB’s truck deliveries on Fridays between 06:00 and 12:00.

• Littering or leaving personal items unattended outside the building is prohibited.

 

6. Parking Rules

• Bicycle parking is available at the designated bike racks near the main entrance.

• Vehicles must only park in the allocated spaces for Ailé House visitors. Illegal parking or blocking delivery zones will result in fines or towing.

 

7. Prohibited Activities

• Activities that cause excessive noise, endanger others, or damage property are prohibited.

• Alcohol consumption is not permitted in the building or on its grounds unless pre-approved for a specific event.

 

8. Facility Use

• Members must book shared spaces (e.g., meeting rooms, workshops) in advance via the Ailé House booking system.

• Members must leave all spaces clean and tidy after use.

 

9. Damages and Liability

• Members are liable for any damages caused to the building, its facilities, or equipment.

• Ailé House is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

 

10. Termination of Membership

• Memberships may be terminated for breach of these terms and conditions, with no refund provided for remaining periods.

 

11. Amendments to Terms

• Ailé House reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of changes in writing.
